ABOUT ME
Hi, I’m Han. I am an eating disorder recovery and joyful movement coach.
During my teenage years. Despite being confident and care-free growing up, during my my teenage years, Anorexia Nervosa brought my entire world crashing down in just a matter of months. Through my recovery, I tried various therapy modalities, all with little to no success.
Within this time, I embraced the notion that anorexia had developed as a form of control and that recovery could be found by a treatment team telling me what and when to eat. I also believed what I was routinely told: it might get easier, but, I would be managing the illness forever.
After years of navigating this, I was far from healed. I thought I was failing recovery. In hindsight, I can see so clearly that this was not the case at all. The reality was that binary therapeutic moulds were failing me.
Having lived through it myself, I know how exhausting, confusing, and lonely navigating recovery can be. And this is why I do what I do.
I am here to walk alongside you with empathy, understanding and insights from my first person lived experience of fully overcoming Anorexia - holding a strong belief in your ability to recover no matter your circumstance.
I am a qualified NLP practitioner and clinical hypnotherapist, and therefore my coaching is grounded in both experience and professional training. Using a varied toolbox of therapies and methodologies, I lead with compassion, integrity, and the belief that full healing is possible.
I know all to well that Eating Disorders are not well supported by mainstream medicine and that healing is not ‘one-size-fits-all’. This journey is about coming home to yourself—and you don’t have to do this alone. I endeavour to offer an individually tailored support pathway for both you, the sufferer, and your loved ones.
